While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I encountered behind its threshold was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

The ground was covered in grime , and a foul smell of decaying beverages and neglected washrooms suffused the entire pub. Smelling a mixture of ammonia , putrefaction and illness . The bar area , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and refuse that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages .
